KPL 2021: Bagh Stallions Defeat Kotli Lions by 5 Wickets

Muzaffarabad: Bagh Stallions turned out victorious against Kotli Lions in the 2^nd match of Kashmir Premier League (KPL 2021) first edition.

Kotli Lions had won the toss and decided to bat first. After setting a 169-run target for Stallions to chase, Lions lost by 5 wickets. The match ended with the run rate of Team Kotli Lions 172-5.

However, after winning the toss the team captain, Kamran Akmal had said his team will try setting a target of at least 180 runs for the rival team. Nevertheless, the match remained equally nail-biting for the supporters of both teams.

The Kashmir Premier League (KPL Schedule 2021) management has announced the schedule for the inaugural season of the tournament.

Six teams will contest in a 10-day cricketing event beginning on August 6th till August 17th 2021 in Muzaffarabad.

KPL teams include Kotli Lions, Rawalakot Hawks, Mirpur Royals, Muzaffarabad Tigers, Overseas Warriors and Bagh Stallions.
