What to expect from Lucifer’s sixth and final season? 

Usually, TV shows falter after the first couple of seasons, but with the Devil on your side, Lucifer is still going strong after five seasons. It was killed after the first three, only to be resurrected by Netflix which will air its final season on September 10th, 2021.

For all those who know ‘What Would Lucifer Do!’, this series is like a breath of fresh air. After all, you don’t get to see the Devil do something good every day, right? The last season featured Lucy’s Dad making an appearance but the next and final season will have a lot more to offer.

If you haven’t seen the fifth season yet, do go and watch it before reading ahead, but if you have, you will be as excited as I am. The fifth season saw the entry of Lucy’s twin brother (also Tom Ellis) who wreaks havoc before the real deal returns to save the day. It was divided into two parts, and both were brilliantly executed.

With a short teaser of the forthcoming season already making rounds, we are all looking forward to Lucifer and his adventures. What would Lucifer do, never sounded so exciting!

1)       Is Lucifer going to take his responsibilities seriously?

He may leave the Earth (again!) and take his responsibilities seriously while looking after Chloe from above, or he may back off because why govern Hell when you can rule the universe. Because he has never shown any interest in his father’s business, he may pass it off to Amenadiel, who appears to be more deserving.

2)      Will there be a happily ever after, or will there be more plot twists?  

As we all know by now, Lucifer is able to restore order and be a good guy if he wants. But will he, Chole, and her daughter have a happy ending or will there be someone in the ‘world’ who would enter and disrupt the entire narrative? The biggest story twist, I suppose, is his father returning to reign, with his mother resigning to a secondary role, for the sake of family.

3)      Will Michael plan something more to depose Lucifer from his throne?  

We saw how desperately Michael wanted to take his father’s place in the last season, so we can’t be certain if he would accept his twin brother’s victory. He might come up with terrible schemes like he did last time, putting Chloe in the middle, or he could bring in Amenadiel’s son and try to turn everyone against him once again.

4)      Will Chloe – Lucifer relationship evolve or not?  

Chloe was concerned when she learned that Lucifer was preparing to get promoted, thereby making her something of a Goddess. Will she join him on this new adventure while her daughter still has no clue about Lucy, or will she advise Lucifer to take his responsibilities seriously and pick someone else to rule, we have to wait and see.
