Quarantine requirement ends for Pakistani Travelers, Turkey

The quarantine requirement for fully vaccinated passengers from Pakistan has been lifted by the Turkish government.

All passengers will have to provide a negative PCR test result accompanied 72 hours before their entry into Turkey, stated the new regulations effective from Sept 4.

Passengers arriving from Pakistan, who will have proof of COVID-19 vaccination, will be exempt from quarantine.

The vaccination should be two doses approved by the World Health Organization (except for Johnson & Johnson which is a single dose).

Those who have got the second dose at least 14 days before their arrival will be exempted from quarantine.

Passengers who failed to provide any vaccination proof will be mandatory to quarantine at their residences or addresses that they will state and tourists will quarantine at their booked hotels.

Furthermore, the travelers required to quarantine will undergo a PCR test on the 10th day of the quarantine period.

In case of a negative result, the quarantine application will be terminated.

The travelers who failed to take a PCR test on the 10th day will be kept under quarantine for 14 days.

If the PCR results are positive, the case will be allocated as per the strategies of the Turkish Ministry of Health.
