TDAP to participate in Heimtextil Frankfurt

KARACHI: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) will participate in Heimtextil Frankfurt 2022, a statement said on Friday.

The fair will help understand the European market and to increase buyers of Pakistani products, an official of the authority said.

Heimtextil is the biggest international trade fair for home and contract textiles, and will be held in Frankfurt from January 11 to 14, 2022. The first trade fair of the year for its sector, it is a climate and trend barometer for the new business year.

A total of 56 Pakistani exhibitors participated under the Pakistan Pavilion and 175 exhibitors participated individually in Heimtextil Frankfurt 2020, which is the largest participation in any exhibition from the country.

The Pakistani companies were located in four levels of Hall 10 with the premium exhibitors such as Gul Ahmed, Kamal Textile, and Al-Karam Textile located in hall 10.2.

A stand is available for Rs990,000 for a 15 square-metres stand. The last date to apply through the TDAP is 2022.

There were more than 2,952 exhibitors and 63,000 buyers and trade visitors from across the world in 2020.

In addition to highly promising newcomers, many well-known major exhibitors will also be returning in 2022.
