The Documentary film “Jhonny vs. Amber” to address couple’s controversial relationship
Jhonny Depp and Amber Heard got divorced in 2016 and a two-part detailed documentary is being made on their story.
The Documentary film reportedly titled “Jhonny vs. Amber” will be based on two parts and aims to shed the light on both the perspective story of the former couple and the legal battles which followed.
The film is said to be released on Discovery+ streaming service and it will be produced by Optomen (Production Company). The Co-CEO of the Optomen company, Nick Hornby states that: “Through the tapes, home videos and text messages which are shown in court, these films give viewers a rare and important insight into a marriage that went tragically wrong, and to better understand the hugely important issue of domestic violence.”
Johnny’s part of the film would depict how he found himself married to a cunning liar who will go to any length to maintain her reputation.
While Amber’s film part delves into how she married the guy of her dreams only to have him turn into a violent, narcotic beast.
The couple engaged in legal battles since Amber filed for divorce in May 2016 just after 15 months of marriage.
