Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he had started his party 26 years ago to restore justice in Pakistan but he was saddened that the Supreme Court did not bother to see the allegations and announced the verdict against the ruling of the National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri

He said that he was disappointed with the SC verdict, adding that he would not accept an “imported government” and would launch a protest campaign against the upcoming government.

The prime minister urged the youth and general people to come out against this system and record their protests.

“The youth of Pakistan is our future and if they see leaders selling their conscience, what precedent are we setting for them?” he asked.

He said that nations must stand against wrong, otherwise, nobody can protect them if they don’t raise their voices against the corruption and other evils prevalent in the country.

He expressed these views while addressing the nation on Friday.

He said that Supreme Court should have seen the letter regarding ‘foreign conspiracy to topple my government before giving its decision.

“I respect the Supreme Court and the judiciary, but the apex court should have looked at the threat letter before issuing the verdict,” PM Imran Khan said.

PM Imran Khan further said that the decision on Article 63 (A), regarding horse-trading, also added to his disappointment. PM Imran Khan said the consciences of the MNAs are openly being bought in the country but no one is taking action on it.

He told the nation that the conspiracy of regime change was being hatched in a foreign country and local politicians were used for this conspiracy.

The premier said the ‘threat letter’ cannot be made public as it has a secret code on it. By making the letter public the security of Pakistan will be exposed.

Speaking about the “threat letter”, he explained what a cipher is — a coded message sent by embassies to their country — adding that this message cannot be shared with the media and public because if these codes are unveiled, all secret information of Pakistan will be unveiled.

He said that during the meeting between the Pakistani ambassador and the US official, the latter complained that “I [Imran Khan] should not have visited [Russia].”

PM Imran Khan maintained that even before the no-confidence motion was filed against him, the US official had warned the Pakistani ambassador that if Imran Khan manages to save himself from the motion then Pakistan will have to face “severe consequences.”

The premier mentioned that the US official knew beforehand that a no-confidence motion was to be submitted against him, adding that they also knew who would come to power if the Opposition manages to oust him.

Criticising the US official for his arrogance, he said that the official told the ambassador that if Imran Khan is ousted, Pakistan will be spared no matter who takes the charge.

PM Imran Khan levelled allegations against PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif and said he had apparently prepared his sherwani for the oath-taking ceremony — as a result of being involved in this “foreign conspiracy.”

PM Imran Khan regretted how a US official threatened a state of 220 million people were directed to follow the direction through a no-confidence motion.

He asked the people to stand for the protection of the sovereignty of the country, or else the foreign powers will continue to dictate to us.

He also harshly criticized the media.

He said that Pakistani politicians were meeting with American diplomats and hatching conspiracies against the present government.

The prime minister said that the conspiracy was hatched because he refused to bow down before them, adding these foreign countries knew that he (Imran) had always criticised the drone attacks and opposed their policies. That is why they are against him and do not like him to be in power, he asserted.

Imran Khan said that he was not against any country but he wanted to follow a policy which would be beneficial for his country and people.

He further said that Pakistan and its people had always sacrificed for others’ interests in spite of it they were criticised and sanctions were imposed against Pakistan.

The prime minister urged the youth of Pakistan to take a stance for the restoration of their honour and sovereignty and free foreign policy.

He further said that he did not oppose the USA and any other nation but he wanted that his nation would live with full respect and honour.

He maintained that the Opposition, whenever they come to power, would abolish the NAB and appoint their people to important posts to stop the accountability process.

He feared that the Opposition would deprive the overseas Pakistanis of their right of votes and eliminate the use of Electronic Voting Machines in the next elections.
