Babar Azam : Pakistan must create a team that should be cherished forever

Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam says that when I became the captain I had a dream in mind and made it a target that Pakistan has to make a team that everyone will remember.

“I want to give four or five players a role model for all of them. I have to feed them consistently to make them successful. That’s what I’m doing at the moment,” he said.

Babar Azam said that my role model in captaincy is Imran Khan, he made the team and gave many players, he used to back the players, I learn from his captaincy.

He further said that all of us players are connected to each other, we are happy with each other’s success, everyone is active and I want the Pakistan team to be followed by the world to appreciate it.

Captain Babar Azam said that I am not only winning my number one position but also working harder. If you are playing according to your plan and you have scored a goal then don’t stay on that goal. Rather, it has to be further improved, it has to be maintained, it is a challenge and it is fun, I work double to maintain the position, and I try to give one hundred per cent.

Number five in Tests and number one in ODIs and T20s, Babar Azam also says that I am competing with myself and not with Williamson, Steve Smith or Labo Shane and I work twice as hard to compete with myself. I don’t learn anything, the process of learning continues and I will continue to learn.

The captain of the national cricket team said that the problem of the middle-order in white-ball cricket is not so much but it is certain that we have to strengthen it, we are working hard to strengthen the middle order, so much for that. Don’t worry.

He said that many plans have been made to strengthen the middle order, Shadab Khan and Muhammad Nawaz have returned to the team, it will be beneficial, they are also planning to feed Shadab Khan at the top.
