The ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies was shifted from Pindi to Multan.
Sources said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had sought the opinion of the government in this regard.
Sources said that the official announcement of the PCB is expected by this evening, and the board has started booking the hotel and booking the airline.
Due to possible tensions in Pindi, the government has allowed the match to be shifted, the series will be without a biosecurity bubble.
The Punjab government will provide equal security to both teams.
It may be recalled that the West Indies team will reach Multan on June 5 while the first match of the three-match ODI series will be played on June 8.
