Deepika has recently been in the news for her song Besharam Rang, which was written by Vishal-Shekhar. Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, is slated to open in theaters on January 25, 2023.

Merub is presently working on the drama series Wabaal, which also stars Sarah Khan and Tahla Chahour. The protagonist of the serial is a girl who is sick of being poor and imagines herself to be affluent.
