Syeda Tuba Anwar, a Pakistani TV actress, had kept quiet about her side of the story following her contentious marriage to the late televangelist Aamir Liaquat Hussain and the ensuing public scrutiny until recently when she finally spoke out about her transition from behind-the-camera to the spotlight.
After getting married to the TV host, Anwar started receiving death threats and was referred to as a gold digger. These attacks continued even after Hussain’s passing. Anwar discussed how the internet vitriol affected her in an interview with The Kult, spilling details as she went.

Syeda Tuba Anwar has frequently been charged with using her union with Aamir Liaquat for fame. She never cleared the air since she found the process to be exhausting and too much to handle.

Anwar remarked, “I was getting into a relationship but I never thought about it from the public’s point of view. ” When asked how her marriage to her ex-spouse came to be the centre of attention. I didn’t have the appropriate exposure at the time because I was so young and even naive. I wasn’t prepared for the commotion. Even though I didn’t even break the news, it was leaked. The news needed to be shared. It wasn’t that it was a secret, but whoever gets married should decide when to inform people. We weren’t both prepared.

“When it all began, I was perplexed and unable to understand why people are so hostile against me. I was receiving abuse that I was unable to absorb. It got so bad that I started receiving rape and murder threats at one point. Men, women, and everyone else was “just picking on anything and everything,” she continued, noting that offline abuse by “people she was acquainted with” was also occurring.

Anwar offered the following advise to those who provide unwelcome ideas or suggestions: “Everything I am today, I have worked hard for it and I won’t allow anybody tell me otherwise.”

Anwar responded to critics of the Bharaas actress who called her a “gold-digger,” saying, “I am educated, young, and come from a loving, stable family of intellectuals. No one is required to serve as a ladder for me. It’s repulsive to say that to someone. It would have been different had I not been competent or talented enough. I had to accompany my father on his global excursions. My four sisters and I are all doing well.

Growing up, neither money nor love was ever in short supply. If I had taken anything from him as I was leaving, I would have been a gold digger. She yelled, “I took nothing, and all of the YouTube videos about my house and my automobiles are all clickbait.

The Yeh Ishq Samajh Na Aaye actress concluded the conversation about her marriage by saying, “I didn’t have to get married in real life if I wanted to marry for money or for television. There were other possible outcomes as well. I value my dignity, thus I decided to go with that individual at the time. You have to maintain someone’s respect when you share meals and your life with them. That’s what I did as well. I never intended to feel that level of hatred for anyone.

Anwar recently appeared in the films Yeh Ishq Samajh Na Aaye, Bharaas, and Bichoo.
