Journalist Kamran Shahid to direct the movie ‘Huey Tum Ajnabi’

A well-known journalist from Pakistan, Kamran Shahid, tried his luck as a director with the film Huey Tum Ajnabi. The iconic Lollywood star’s son stated that it took six years to finish the movie in an interview, citing extended theatre closures that occurred in prior years as a result of the Covid epidemic. Shamoon Abbasi, Mikaal Zulfiqar, and Ayesha Omar are among the movie’s cast members.

The TV host described Huey Tum Ajnabi’s topic as “difficult” for him since it brought up the 1971 episodes again, which he said needed to be handled delicately and without bringing up your failures. He stated using a balanced approach to give an impartial view of what occurred four decades ago in his debut film.

On a lighter note, the talk show host said he was not interested in keeping him in a movie frame, saying it would be ideal for him to be the director. He also noted that he doesn’t require celebrity because he interacts with his audience every day on his little screen.

Kamran refused when asked if he would cast any present politicians in the position of Sheikh Mujeeb, describing art and film as creative endeavours requiring dedication. Leading actor Mikal Zulfiqar expressed his opinions as well, describing the film as a blend of romance, action, suspense, and historical realities, among other things. Legendary actors Shafqat Cheema and Sohail Ahmed, as well as other cast members, offered their opinions on the production.

Shamoon Abbasi, Sadia Khan, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Samina Peerzada, and Ayesha Omar are among the movie’s impressive cast members. It will be released on Eidul Fitr.
