However, Sarwat Gilani has recently been experimenting with characters that are diverse and have a lot to offer.

Sarwat is also taking on roles that are bringing her international recognition, such as Churails, Qatil Haseenaon Ke Naam, and the recent chart-topping Joyland, which has received numerous accolades from Cannes to the Oscars.

Sarwat Gilani revealed in a recent podcast with Freiha Altaf that her work in Churails was greatly appreciated, and she received a message from none other than Karan Johar, who had become a fan of the show from across the border.

Sarwat revealed that she met Karan Johar on her way back from Rome with husband Fahad Mirza, and they took a picture. As a result, when Karan Johar messaged her and spoke to her, she nearly died.

Sarwat then informed him that they had previously met, and she was overjoyed because Karan was very appreciative of her work.
