Alizeh Shah receives criticism from Rubina Ashraf for using too much makeup

Rubina Ashraf, a seasoned actress from Pakistan, recently featured on the show “Kya Drama Hai” as one of the critics judging dramas and actors based on their acting ability. Atiqa Odho, Nadia Jamil, and host Mukarram Kaleem joined her.

Rubina Ashraf discussed the performances of the actors, including Alizeh Shah‘s, during the evaluation of the drama “Chand Raat aur Chaandni” on the programme. In Rubina‘s opinion, Alizeh’s uniform appearance and excessive makeup in all of her dramas detracted from her acting talent. As a result, Rubina Ashraf gave Alizeh Shah a “zero” for performance.

She went on to explain her remarks, saying, “For me, Alizeh is zero because she does not get out of this look in any play. I want her to be without makeup in one of her plays, at least one of the situations. She is all about makeup and wears it even when it is not necessary.”

Alizeh Shah‘s acting skills and appearance were criticised by Rubina Ashraf during the programme. She claimed that Alizeh Shah appeared to be wearing the same heavy makeup during Sehri as she did when she portrayed a bride in an earlier drama. The next thing Rubina Ashraf said was that the time for stupid acting had long since passed.

The host of the programme, Mukarram Kaleem, appeared to take offence at Rubina‘s remarks and stepped in to defend Alizeh Shah. The two critics got into a contentious argument over this.

In an effort to defuse the situation, Ashraf reminded Mukarram that the criticism was intended to be constructive rather than personal. She even made a humorous jab at him, speculating that the reason he appeared to take the criticism so personally might be that Alizeh Shah was a close friend of his.

Shah recently received plaudits for her work in Taqdeer, a film that also starred Sami Khan in the key roles. Numerous well-known projects, including Choti Si Zindagi, Ishq Tamasha, Ehd-e-Wafa, Mera Dil Mera Dushman, and Bebasi, are to mAlizeh’s credit.
