Farah Iqrar reveals why she started covering her head

A well-known anchor from Pakistan is Farah Iqrar-Ul-Hassan. Farah, also known as Farah Yousaf, began her career as a host on private networks. She was well-known for hosting Awam ki Awaz. Farah gained an enormous reputation after getting married to the well-known anchor and newsperson Iqrar Ul Hassan, who was already wed to news anchor Qurat Ul ain Iqrar.

Speaking with Ahmed Fozan about it recently, Farah Iqrar disclosed the reason she began covering her head, stating, “When I was not covering my head even then I used to offer my prayers, I used to observe fasting, and I was regular with my Quran classes. When I performed Umrah, I felt comfortable covering my head, but I wasn’t sure of my choice at the time. However, after my father fell ill and I began going to the hospital frequently and seeing people in need, I grew closer to Allah and became a more ardent follower of religion. I then began to cover my head, I used to stay in Wuzzo, and I became consistent with long-duration ibadat. Many of my friends warned me that since I began wearing a head covering, they would harm my career. Yet, I was adamant in my decision, so let me assure you that I will soon be appearing on television while wearing a head covering. This is also appreciated by many people. Individuals have started concealing their heads, they message me now.”

Pakistani investigative journalist and TV host Iqrar-ul-Hassan is a brave and daring individual. Because he hosts the programme “Sar-e-Aam,” he is well known. Together with Waseem Badami, he co-hosts “Shan-e-Ramzan,” a Ramadan-specific show. In 2012, Iqrar-ul-Hassan made headlines when he astonished everyone with her marriage to Farah Yousaf, a female journalist, in a secret wedding. Iqrar had a son named Pehlaj Hassan with the journalist Qurat-ul-Ain, with whom she had previously been married.
