‘Parizaad’ famed Adeel Afzal talks about payment issues with channel

Adeel Afzal, a young Pakistani actor, is well-known for playing the poet Nasaaz from Parizaad. He definitely benefited from Drama Parizaad in terms of his development as a good actor and his rise to fame in Pakistan. Adeel won over his followers with his superb acting abilities despite having a little role. Adeel recently spoke about the difficulties that rookie artists encounter when trying to receive their money.

In his podcast, Adeel Afzal expressed his frustration with Talha Ahad by saying, “We have assumed that we will go for shortcuts but we would not follow the method (procedure). Since I’m an actor, the agency that is supposed to handle all concerns involving money and dates should get in touch with me. I’ve worked in a play, and now, after three months of doing my job and gaining fame, I’m getting a contract. What would I do with such a contract? Let’s say I’ve worked in a play, and when I went to the producers to ask for my pay, they told me, “We have signed your check, but we don’t have money in our bank account,”

He further added: “Can you really believe this? They only need to pay me a few thousand and it’s such a large channel. I get upset about these things because I was involved in the process, but I have no concerns about the channel because, at the end of the day, they are in the business of doing business.”
