His work on the film Javed Iqbal is another noteworthy endeavour. Yasir Hussain began directing in addition to hosting and acting; his dramas Koel and Aik Thi Laila received positive reviews. The actor recently made an appearance on Nadir Ali’s show where he discussed the recent statement made by Indian actor Javed Akhtar. On Javed Akhtar’s remarks, he stated that he views art and artists in different ways.

he said, “I keep artist and art separate,for me, whatever Javed Akhtar has said has nothing to with his work. I still like his films, I agree to you that he has said a very stupid thing but whatever he has said he has said it in extreme pressure because by saying these things he has actually made his life easier now.in India, he has made a good and smooth way for his kids, now, his kids’ life will be easier in a country like India and I am sure he did it deliberately because he must have wanted to do this in his life because he’s a born Muslim and Muslims have difficult life there. I appreciate our Pakistanis that they didn’t mistreat a guest in Pakistan, those Lahoris showed grace and sent a great message of peace.
