Samsung Galaxy S24 series unveiled leaked specs and launch date

As the Galaxy Unpacked event approaches, renowned leaker Evan Blass has provided a sneak peek into Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 series. The leaked press materials not only confirm the launch date, set for January 18 with a kickoff on January 17 in select markets, including Pakistan but also unveil detailed specifications for the entire lineup.

The Galaxy S24 is set to feature a 6.2-inch dynamic AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. Stepping up, the S24+ boasts a larger 6.7-inch 2K display, while the S24 Ultra leads with a towering 6.8-inch screen. The materials also hint at the introduction of Galaxy AI, Samsung’s response to innovative technologies like ChatGPT and Google Bard.

Encased in Armor Aluminum 2.0, the S24 and S24+ models promise durability, while the Ultra variant takes it a step further with a new titanium frame, reminiscent of the latest iPhone 15 Pro phones. A spectrum of colors, including Onyx Black, Cobalt Violet, Marble Gray, and Amber Yellow, adds a personalized touch to the devices.

In the camera department, the S24 and S24+ feature 50MP main cameras and 3x telephoto lenses, supporting up to 8K video recording. Meanwhile, the S24 Ultra is expected to dazzle with a 200MP main camera, accompanied by 3x and 10x telephoto lenses.

Powering these flagship devices is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with exceptions for certain regions like Korea, Europe, and India, which will receive models equipped with the Exynos 2400 chipset. The Galaxy Unpacked event promises an exciting reveal of these cutting-edge devices, setting the stage for Samsung’s flagship dominance in 2023.
