Mobile phone service partially restored in various cities of country
ISLAMABAD: The mobile phone service was partially restored in various cities of the country.
According to the Ministry of Interior, mobile phone service has been restored in Bhakkar, Sargodha, Rawalpindi, Taxila, Gujar Khan Chakri.
The Ministry of Interior said that the service has also been partially restored in Loralai, Sibi and Jhal Magsi areas of Balochistan.
The Ministry of Interior said that the service has been restored in the cities of Sindh province, but the service will remain suspended in Karachi.
It should be noted that on the occasion of the general elections in the country, mobile phone and internet services remain closed throughout the country.
Candidates and voters faced difficulties due to suspension of mobile phone and internet services.
Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed has said on the suspension of mobile service on the day of the general elections that the suspension of mobile phones seems to be an abnormal situation.
The PML-N leader said that this is an election process, it is a normal day, it seems that there is an abnormal situation due to mobile phone shutdown.
He said that the arrangements for the election are good and they have voted peacefully, everyone has their polling agents, everyone knows what happened before the polling.
