Dubbed “Aerodactyl,” the Phone (2a) is positioned to be an affordable addition to the company’s product range. Initial indications hint that this new model might take cues from the premium features of the Phone (2) while also aiming to outperform its predecessor, the Phone (1), across all aspects.
Further building anticipation, the company has revealed its Glyph Developer Kit, an instrument aimed at providing developers with access to the Glyph lighting system found on Nothing smartphones. This initiative not only encourages innovation among developers but also underscores the brand’s dedication to delivering distinctive and customizable user experiences.
The phone will come with a 6.7-inch OLED display and will be driven by the Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC. It’s expected to offer imaging capabilities with a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies. Speculation suggests that the launch price in India could be around $360, although the cost in other regions, like Europe, is still uncertain.
