Rain, snowfall expected in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
PESHAWAR – Areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, experienced rainfall, occasional hailstorms, and snowfall in the mountains over the past day. Experts forecast similar weather for Tuesday evening and night.
Rain, sporadic hailstorms, and snowfall have caused a drop in temperatures across Peshawar and much of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Kalam was the chilliest location in the country, with temperatures plummeting to 8 degrees Celsius below freezing.
In Peshawar, the minimum temperature dipped to 6 degrees Celsius, with a relative humidity of 93 percent recorded during the morning.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), an incoming westerly wave is impacting the northern regions of Pakistan and is expected to continue over the next 24 hours.
During this period, cold and dry weather is anticipated across most parts of the province on Tuesday evening/night and Wednesday. However, Abbottabad, Mansehra, and nearby areas may experience additional rain, wind, thunderstorms, and snowfall over hills on Tuesday evening or night. On Wednesday, light rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall over hills are expected in Abbottabad, Mansehra, Kohistan, and Khurram.
Peshawar’s minimum temperature is expected to range between 8 and 10°C on Wednesday and 7-9°C on Thursday.
