ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf(PTI) has issued a show-cause notice to the newly elected member of the National Assembly, Sher Afzal Marwat .

Earlier, Sher Afzal Marwat said in his statement that Barrister Gohar Khan was removed from the chairmanship for the intra-party election because his performance was not satisfactory.

Sher Afzal Marwat also said that his incompetence and poor performance was behind the removal of Barrister Gohar Ali Khan from the post of chairmanship, party office needs to be active all the time but this did not happen.

The PTI leader said that Barrister Gohar Khan got three months’ time but he could not succeed, there were other expectations including workers’ protest in which Barrister Gohar failed.

Now a show cause notice has been issued by PTI to Sher Afzal Marwat saying that his statement created chaos within the ranks of party.

In the show cause notice, PTI directed Sher Afzal to submit an apology within 2 days and said that in case of not giving a satisfactory answer, action will be taken as per party police.

According to sources, Senator Yusuf Raza Gilani will not take oath as a member of the National Assembly at present.
