LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif directed the party president and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to form the cabinet soon and start implementing the manifesto.

An important meeting of the party was held under the chairmanship of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif in which the senior leadership of PML-N including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was present.

Important national and political issues were discussed in the informal consultation of the PML-N leadership.

According to the sources, Nawaz Sharif told Shahbaz Sharif that the Prime Minister should form the cabinet soon and start implementing the manifesto.

Sources said that Nawaz Sharif also said that Pakistan is currently facing challenges like a mountain and people have high expectations from PML-N while the reduction in inflation is also inevitable.

Sources said that in the meeting there was a consultation on including the Pakistan People’s Party in the federal cabinet and on this occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that he will request Asif Zardari again after he is elected as the president.

Earlier, Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq  called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

During the meeting, they discussed issues related to legislation and parliamentary affairs, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.
