The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is preparing to introduce the “Pakistan Honour Card Scheme,” a superior initiative aimed at acknowledging and rewarding the top taxpayers in the country, including exporters. This system is personalized to provide exclusive benefits and conveniences, particularly at airports.

Under the scheme, the “Pakistan Honour Cards” will be presented to 65 distinguished exporters and compliant taxpayers, comprising companies, Associations of Persons (AOPs), and individual taxpayers. These outstanding taxpayers have been recognized by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their significant contributions.

Cardholders can expect streamlined clearance at immigration counters, access to official passports, and VIP lounge amenities at airports. Moreover, they will be invited to an annual dinner hosted by the prime minister, further affirming their esteemed status.

The scheme encompasses various categories of taxpayers, each entitled to specific facilities. These categories include:

*Highest exporters in paper and plastic, steel and metal products, and other sectors

The system also admits exporters of non-traditional and innovative products, such as the leading exporters of aluminum and related articles, spices, and fish and crustaceans. It also knows the top three performers in the field of information technology, the two exporters with the highest growth over the past year, and the top three first-time exporters.

Women exporters are also included, with the top three being recognized. The scheme also pays tribute to the top 12 taxpayers across all tax categories, the top five companies in income tax, the leading Association of Persons (AOPs), and the top five individuals within this group.

New taxpayers with the highest tax payments and the top three Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) will also be covered by this scheme.
