KARACHI: The BS Computer Science (BSCS) program at the School of Mathematics and Computer Science (SMCS) at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) has been awarded the top ‘W’ category accreditation by the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC) for the 2019, 2020, and 2021 batches.
Earlier this year, the NCEAC inspection team visited the institute to assess the program standards and conducted a thorough examination of the facilities.
The meeting was attended by Dr S Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director IBA; Dr Shakeel Khoja, Dean SMCS; Dr Shahid Hussain, Chairperson Computer Science Department; Dr Sana Tauseef, Director Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) and CS faculty.
The recent accreditation underscores IBA’s commitment to academic excellence and further validates dedication to enhancing the computing degree.
