LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued a detailed judgment to remove the names of Farhat Shahzadi’s (Farah Gogi) children from the passport control list(PCL).

A two-member bench headed by Justice Anwaarul Haq Pannu of the Lahore High Court issued a detailed verdict on the petition regarding the removal of the names of Farah Gogi’s children from the passport control list.

The court wrote in the judgment that the public prosecutor failed to satisfy the court about keeping the children’s names in the PCL.

At the time of the trial of Farhat Shahzadi, both the children were under 16 years of age, hence there was no justification for keeping the children’s names in the passport control list.

In the verdict, it has been said that the anti-corruption agency registered a case against the children’s mother Farhat Shahzadi and others. The Farhat Shahzadi did not join the investigation.
