Each year, a substantial influx of visitors from around the world, including Pakistan, choose to travel to this Southeast Asian nation for vacations or to simply unwind and enjoy themselves.
Pakistani citizens must obtain a visit visa before traveling to Malaysia for tourism purposes. However, they can easily apply for the visa through a streamlined online process, making the application hassle-free.

The cost of the Malaysia eVisa for tourists is 20 Malaysian ringgit. With the exchange rate of one ringgit equal to Rs58.73 as of May 2024, the electronic single-entry visa amounts to approximately Rs1,174 for Pakistani applicants.
In addition to the visa fee, applicants are required to pay a visa processing fee of 105 Malaysian ringgit. This processing fee, along with any service charges, can be conveniently paid using a valid debit or credit card.
Prospective applicants can access the official website of the Immigration Department of Malaysia. Once there, they should locate and click on the “I am New Apply” button. Following this, they will be prompted to provide various details, including their name, nationality, passport number, address, and other relevant information.
Typically, Malaysian eVisa applications submitted by individuals from Pakistan are processed online and are usually returned within a timeframe of one (1) to three (3) business days.
Upon issuance, Pakistani travelers holding the eVisa for Malaysia can stay in the country for a maximum duration of 30 days within the validity period of six months.
