Flight operations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have resumed as of Friday, marking a return to normalcy following improved weather conditions in the Gulf nation.
Officials from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and other airlines, including the national carrier, have confirmed the normalization of flight schedules. Efforts are underway to accommodate passengers affected by the temporary suspension of flights, prioritizing their placement on upcoming flights to ensure minimal disruption to their travel plans.
Acknowledging the inconvenience caused by weather-related flight cancellations, PIA and other airlines are taking proactive measures to address the backlog of travelers. Plans for additional flights are in progress to accommodate both affected passengers and future bookings, enhancing overall convenience for travelers.
Passengers impacted by flight cancellations are encouraged to take advantage of priority seating arrangements by contacting Flight Inquiry Services promptly. This ensures that their travel arrangements are promptly adjusted in accordance with the updated flight schedules.
The decision to suspend flight operations to the UAE was prompted by reports of severe weather conditions, including heavy rainfall and adverse weather patterns, which raised concerns about potential disruptions to air travel and ground transportation.
Emirates Airlines and Etihad Airways had previously issued advisories to passengers traveling to and from the UAE, urging them to anticipate delays and stay informed about any changes to their travel plans.
