Governor Tessori hosts special event in Karachi

Karachi: A special musical evening, “Jashn-e-Azadi Marka-e-Haq,” was held at the Governor House in Karachi to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence Day.

The event, hosted by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, featured a mesmerizing performance by globally acclaimed singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who captivated the audience with his powerful voice.

The celebrated Qawwali singer had arrived in Karachi on the invitation of Governor Tessori. In addition to Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s performance, the event also included renditions of famous national songs.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Tessori stated that the event was a celebration of a historic victory over India. The musical night was attended by a large number of dignitaries, including Consul Generals from various countries, leaders from MQM Pakistan, and citizens.
