LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) has granted a five-day physical remand of Sher Shah, son of Aleema Khan.
The case was heard by Judge Manzar Ali Gul of the Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore, where Sher Shah was produced under tight security.
According to the investigation officer, the accused was arrested in connection with the May 9 Jinnah House attack case.
The 30 -day remand of the accused Sher Shah was requested by the police and it was said that the accused was present with Hassan Niazi on the spot, and was encouraging the people to burn.
The Anti -Terrorism Court reserved the verdict on the police’s request and later passed the reserved verdict and approved a five -day physical remand of Sher Shah, son of Aleema Khan, who was arrested yesterday in the May 9 case.
It may be recalled that just a day earlier, another son of Aleema Khan, Shah Riaz, was also handed over to police on an eight-day physical remand by the court.
