K-pop group celebrated decade with performances, time capsule, and online broadcast for global fans.
SEOUL: K-pop sensation TWICE successfully held their 10th anniversary fan meeting, ‘10VE UNIVERSE’, on September 18 at Korea University’s Hwajung Gymnasium in Seoul, marking a decade since their debut in 2015.
The commemorative event sold out all seats during a pre-sale exclusive to their official fan club, ONCE, and was simultaneously broadcast online via Beyond LIVE to reach fans worldwide.
The fan meeting featured a nostalgic time-travel theme, starting with a heartfelt video re-creating interviews from Mnet’s survival show ‘SIXTEEN’, where the group was formed. The emotional highlight came as members opened a time capsule filled with photos, memorabilia, and touching fan contributions, including slogans, tickets, and plaques from past milestones.
“We’re so grateful you’ve cherished these ten years,” the members said, reflecting on their journey with ONCE. “Let’s continue making beautiful memories together.”
The event also included interactive games like ‘Shout in Silence’, ‘Relay Dance’, and ‘Describe with Your Body’, drawing laughter and showcasing the group’s chemistry. TWICE reciprocated the fans’ love with performances of fan-favorite tracks like ‘Like a Fool’, ‘DEPEND ON YOU’, and ‘SOMEONE LIKE ME’. In return, fans orchestrated a touching paper airplane event with messages like “Thank you for being part of my youth.”
The evening concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and a performance of their new song ‘ME+YOU’, a heartfelt tribute to fans. “Reaching our 10th anniversary wasn’t easy, but it was possible because of ONCE,” the group shared. “We’re thankful for staying with us from our teenage years to now.”
Since debuting in 2015, TWICE has established themselves as a global top-tier girl group, with remarkable achievements both in Korea and internationally, including a career-high on the Billboard Hot 100. As they celebrate this milestone, TWICE continues to look forward with unwavering gratitude and love for their fans.
