Princess of Wales, Lady Diana is being remembered on her 22nd death anniversary.

Diana Frances Spencer was born on 1 July 1961, in Park House, Sandringham, Norfolk. She was celebrated in the media for her unconventional approach to charity work.

Diana came to prominence in 1981 upon her engagement to Prince Charles, eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II. Thousands attended her wedding with Charles, Prince of Wales.

She is the mother of Prince William and Prince Harry.
