The Embassy Of Pakistan, Riyadh will Remain closed (22-23) Wednesday & Thursday, February 2023 On The Occasion Of Saudi Founding Day.

The 22nd of February is Saudi Arabia’s Foundation Day, a new annual holiday commemorating the establishment of the first Saudi state in Arabia.

The holiday was established last year by a royal edict announced by King Salman via the official Saudi News Agency. According to the statement, the move is intended to celebrate the history of Saudi rule, which dates back hundreds of years.

It is not the same as Saudi National Day, which is celebrated on September 22.
