Delegation of CNG Association has left for Houston (U.S.) for Private Gas Import.

According to details, the delegation led by senior leader Ghayas Paracha, will attend the International Gas Tech Conference 2019.

Pakistan’s participation will open new doors for the development of gas sector in the country and to give primacy to the Import of LNG and its supply in the private sector.

The conference will commence from September 17 to 19 September and will bring together the world’s largest supplier companies.

Ghayas Paracha said that we expect several deals in LNG Supply Business and Infrastructure Development. Through which billions of dollars of foreign investment will come to Pakistan.

Ghayas Paracha added that the import bill will be low, employment opportunities will increase, which help to strengthen countries economy.

The government has allowed five international companies to install new LNG terminals, including ExxonMobil (US), Mitsubishi (Japan), Trafigura, Engro and Global (GEI).

Senior government officials of Sui Northern, OGDCL, PPL led by the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for Petroleum will also attend the meeting.
