Minister for Communication Murad Saeed on Tuesday has said that funds reserved for development projects in Karachi were used in money laundering.

Speaking in National Assembly (NA), the minister regretted the recent statements made by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and said that politics of those who plundered the national exchequer will come to an end, but the federation of Pakistan will stay intact at all costs.

He said that all political parties collectively raised voice for the plight of oppressed Kashmiri people and exposed the evil face of Narendra Modi-led Indian government.

He said that Karachi was facing the garbage issue and at least 43 citizens of Karachi died due to rain related incidents.

He said that on this issue, statement of Bilwal Bhutto Zardari was also illogical and not acceptable.

Responding to Murad Saeed, PPP leader Abdul Qadir Patel said that his party has saved Pakistan and federation with sacrifices.

He said that PPP had freed Karachi from Article AK-47 and that the incumbent government of PTI is only busy in scoring points.

“Britain had given Newton (famous scientist) but we have U-turn”, he taunted.
