Prime Minister Imran Khan says that after being included in CPEC, government’s best effort is to make full use of Chinese expertise in the agricultural sector.

Federal Minister of National Food Security and Research, Khusro Bakhtiar calls on PM Imran Khan here on Wednesday (today).

During the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan applauded Khusro Bakhtiar’s efforts as a Minister for drafting and especially for launching a new phase of the CPEC project and accelerating the pace of progress in the ongoing projects and putting them into action.

According to the details, in the new phase of the CPEC projects, key sectors such as agriculture, poverty alleviation, industry, energy, communications, etc. have been made part of the project.

The Prime Minister said that in view of the importance of agriculture in the domestic economy, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar has been given new responsibilities to accelerate the development of agriculture sector.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated Havelian-Mansehra section of Hazara Motorway on Monday.

According to the details, PM Imran Khan inaugurated Hazara Motorway Phase 2 and make important announcements for the development of some areas.

PM Imran Khan was scheduled to reach Havelian today where a colourful inauguration ceremony will be held at the Havelian Interchange.

The inauguration ceremony was held in Havelian University campus.

Governor Shah Farman, Federal Ministers, MPs attended National Hazara Assembly inauguration of Hazara Motorway project.

The three-lane 180km Hazara Motorway had two parts completed while the third one will be completed by March 2020.
