Quetta Blast: 3 Frontier Corps officials martyred and 5 injured

Quetta: Police sources confirmed the blast near airport on Friday.

According to Police sources, explosion is reported near Frontier Corps (FC) van on Airport road.

3 officers martyred while 5 officers got injured, Police sources also informed.

Injured FC officers have been transferred to hospitals.

Earlier, Two Frontier Corps (FC) officers were attacked on November 5.

The misfortune occurred in the Bacha Abad area of the Kulachi tehsil.

Police said, unknown militants opened fire on them in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan District, said police.

According to the sources, FC officers were on their way to the check post, and unknown armed terrorists attacked on them near Qasim River.

Two FC officers were martyred and two sustained injuries, Sources said.

On the other hand 2 FC officers also got injured and shifted to the hospitals.

The place of the attack was sealed off by security forces.

The search operation was launched, sources informed.

Police recovered 35 KG explosives, 2 Sub machine guns, one pistol and hand grenade from terrorists while their bodies have been shifted to hospitals.
