Human rights activists gathered in Shaheed Benazir Abad district (Nawab Shah) to spread word about fundamental rights on occasion of international human rights day.
one day dialogue session held in Nawab Shah under the auspicious of HRCP and social awareness and youth development organization (SAYDO).
Notorious social rights activits, Journalists, professors, and politicians addressed the gathering held in a local Hotel at Nawab Shah on Sunday, 08 December.
Asad Iqbal butt is a vice chairman of HRCP – Sindh was a key note speaker in the event, said Pakistan has to reforms its system of governance for the betterment of rights situation in Pakistan.
Dr. Farooq Sattar – founder of MQM restoration committee said during his speech that there is nexus of Industrialist and feudal lords in Parliament, which doesn’t want to empower the lower class.
Fawwad Raza – Senior Executive at BOL News point out the need of ground operation by social activists for imposing Human rights promised in the constitution.
Former Interior Minister of Sindh Rauf Siddique highlighted the need of implementing Islam in country to assure fundamental rights. He said Islam gave first charter of rights for human being in history and the United Nation’s charter is just paraphrasing of it.
At the end of the ceremony, key organizer from SAYDO – Murad Ali khan told BOL News that his team is working hard to increase awareness regarding basic rights in the deprived people of Sindh.
He expressed his aim to increase their operation nationwide soon.
