The Accountability Court of Lahore, on Wednesday will announce its reserved verdict on a plea, filed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president, Shahbaz Sharif against freezing assets of his family.
Accountability Court Judge Chaudhary Amir Khan will hear the petition.
The court had reserved its verdict over Shahbaz Sharif’s plea. The anti graft body NAB had submitted complete record recording freezing of the Shahbaz’s family assets.
According to the NAB report, the Shahbaz Sharif family accumulated assets of billion of rupees through money laundering.
Earlier, the court had asked from the investigation office (IO) about the purchase date of houses located in Model Town. “The houses were purchased before coming into the power”, the IO had replied to the court’s query.
