MQM supported us in difficult times, Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said, MQM has supported and stood by us in difficult times.

Talking to media after meeting with coalition leaders at MQM’s temporary center in Karachi, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that MQM, including Khalid Maqbool, were present in the meeting today. The political and Sindh situation was discussed in the meeting.

External Affairs Minister said that MQM knows that Imran Khan handled the country in the difficult circumstances because the views of us and MQM are the same and now we have to think how to meet the expectations of the people.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said that the voter expects the government to improve, the facts are kept in front of the voters.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi further said that the Prime Minister has invited the friends of MQM to join the next sitting, MQM’s allies will be meeting with the Prime Minister on December 5, and there is more awareness on the issues of Karachi and Sindh. It is believed that the seat in Islamabad will prove useful.

Speaking on the occasion, MQM Pakistan convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that our policy on important national issues is clear. Sindh has been the victim of economic terrorism for the last eleven years. Some of the demands were made by MQM.

The eighteenth amendment by both leaders said that unfortunately the province did not fulfill its requirements, which unfortunately the federal requirements for lowering of powers were not fulfilled.
