Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar said, Pakistan has defeated terrorists due to unprecedented sacrifices of armed forces, law enforcement agencies and people.
According to the details, while addressing the 129th Convocation of Punjab University in Lahore, he said no nation has made more sacrifices than Pakistani nation in war on terror.
The Governor also said that Indian Citizenship Act has turned the entire India into Kashmir in which minorities are being deprived of their rights.
He said that no human rights believer can accept discriminatory Indian Citizenship Act.
Addressing the ceremony, the vice president of the European Union Parliament Fabio Massimo condemned human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
Earlier, Indian Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said action must be taken against the Uttar Policeman, seen in a video making communal statements in a Muslim locality in Meerut.
The policemen were dealing with violent protests that had broken out in the city after Friday prayers over the amended citizenship law.
