Irrigation Department of Khyber Pakhtun khwa has released a detailed report on one year performance in the year 2019.
44 projects completed in the last one year, the report said.

Construction of small dams has begun to cultivate barren lands in different districts.
Construction work of Pazu Dam in Lakki Marwat, Chipra Dam in Haripur, Shumak Mira in Abbottabad and Achra and Manchura Dam in Mansehra has started.
For the successful and effective implementation of the National Water Policy, the amount allocated in the Annual Development Program increased from 7.40 to 11 percent.
However Last year in Dec Provincial Minister for Irrigation Liaqat Khattak said government allocated Rs40 billion for the construction of Bara and Jaba dams in the Khyber tribal district.
Shabbir Khan briefed the minister about the details of the Bara and Jaba dams.
In response to the problems highlighted by the MNA Iqbal Afridi, the provincial minister said the government had earmarked Rs30 billion for the construction of Bara dam and Rs10 billion for Jaba dam.
