Schools of  Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) reopened on Monday  after extended winter vacation.

According to details, Public and private schools of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) reopened on Monday.

Schools in Punjab and KP scheduled to reopen on January 6 and 7 respectively.

However, both provincial governments extended the vacations till January 12 due to extreme weather conditions.

“In the wake of weather conditions, the winter vacations are hereby extended w.e.f 07.01.2020 to 12.01.2020 in all Public & Private Schools in Punjab. All schools (Public & Private) shall re-open on 13th January, 2020,” the Punjab School Education Department had said on January 6.

Moreover On the other hand, thin attendance  reported in schools across Punjab due to downpours. Rain in Lahore and its adjacent areas turned the weather cold.

Furthermore Rain reported from other cities of Punjab including Faisalabad, Gujrat, Sialkot, Mandi Bahauddin, Pir Mahal, Jhang, Mianwali and Bhakkar.
