Actions are being accelerated to prevent coronavirus spread, Firdous Ashiq Awan

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on information Firdous Ashiq Awan said that actions are being accelerated for the prevention against coronavirus.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said while addressing a news conference that NDMA is implementing steps to provide commodities, the government is working to remove all provinces’ concerns, and the government is trying to fix any flaws.

She further said that handling the challenges with strategies is the second agenda of the government. Fear regarding Corona will be alleviated.

She added that three journalists in Punjab have tested positive for coronavirus, PID has launched corona journalists’ application. She urged that the journalists, who became victims, must use this application.

She further said that the decision has been taken to make public the decision of NCC. In addition to this, she said that they are suggesting a plan to the PM regarding the relief of the journalists.

Moreover, Firdous said that it was agreed to create a WhatsApp group for information exchange. The group includes ministers and advisors of all the provinces, the purpose of creating a group is to share information.

Above all, she said that the purpose is to stop the spread of false information regarding coronavirus.
