A sixty-one year old Pakistani named Imtiaz Ahmad died of coronavirus in Brescia, 100 miles from Milan in Italy.
Pakistan consulate in Milan is in touch with the family of the deceased and the Italian authorities on this matter.
Earlier, State Minister of Health of Pakistan Dr Zafar Mirza has said the number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan have now reached to 19 and all have brought this from abroad.
Dr Mirza said this in a Tweet that all Patients are stable and there is no evidence of local spread.
Dr Zafar Mirza said the most important to limit the spread of coronavirus is to ensure that we observe hygiene by washing hands properly, avoid touching our face and keep distance with sick people.

He said that the government is working hard to contain the spread, but we all need to take our part in his fight.

Novel Coronavirus cases toll has risen to 20 in Pakistan after Gilgit-Baltistan reported its second patient on Wednesday.
Gigit Baltistan has reported its second Novel coronavirus case on March 11 (today), a spokesperson for GB government said.
The patient, a 14-year-old hails from Skardu, the spokesperson added.
Karachi has been the worst affected city so far, with 15 of the total confirmed cases.
Of the remaining, two cases have been reported in Gilgit-Baltistan and one case has been reported each in Islamabad, Hyderabad and Quetta.
According to Sindh Health Department, one of the infected persons reached Karachi from Syria via Doha while second patient, who is resident of Hyderabad, arrived in Karachi from Iran via Dubai.
On the other hand, Sindh Health Department suggested to to shutdown schools for longer duration and ban on public gatherings.
Sindh Health Department disclosed this in a press note.

Sindh’s Minister of Health and Population Welfare Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho chaired an internal department meeting.
The meeting decided Sindh Health Department setting up its own health desk.
Also screening at the Karachi Airport to screen all the patients coming to Karachi.
While all private and Public hospitals will be setting up a frontline desk for information on Corona Virus.
The meeting decided that an Advisory will issue to avoid large public gatherings,
It also has suggested to the CM to put a ban on large public.
