On Tuesday, the Sindh government permitted more 82 factories to resume their operations after agreeing to fully follow the standard operating procedures (SOPs) issued by the government due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
In a notification issued by the Sindh home department, 82 factories allowed to resume their operation to complete their export orders.
“The factories would be bound to follow the SOPs amid coronavirus outbreak”, the notification reads.
Moreover, around 69 units granted permission to resume their operations in the province yesterday.
The provincial authorities on Monday had sealed three factory units in Karachi for violating SOPs issued by the Sindh government.
Sindh govt spokesman, Murtaza Wahab had said that all three factories were sealed in the Korangi area of Karachi as they did not follow the SOPs set by the government whilst lockdown.
