Pakistan’s Information Minister Senator Shibli Faraz asked from Opposition on Thursday if they had a parallel strategy for the dealing pandemic.

While addressing on the floor, PTI senator and Information Minister Shibli Faraz, in response to criticism of opposition, asked if they had a parallel strategy for dealing with the coronavirus in Pakistan. PTI Senator and Information Minister Shibli Faraz said that Pakistan’s coronavirus outbreak is not as bad as European countries or the US despite its poverty levels and weak health sector.

Shibli Faraz outlined the government’s strategy to deal with the coronavirus, saying that it wanted to “facilitate daily-wagers on first basis”. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced a package aimed at daily-wagers despite the country’s limited resources.

Information Minister Shibli Faraz has said that the government has always supported all the provinces and does not have a “discriminatory attitude”. He added that the Centre did not want to politicize the coronavirus crisis and said that the opposition was playing a “blame game”. He added that the government had provided every province with protective gear and money.
