PM Imran Khan has said that national unity is needed to tackle the Coronavirus challenge.
According to details, PM Imran Khan visited the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa also accompanied the Prime Minister.
According to the NCOC statement, the meeting was briefed on steps to improve the healthcare system while the Prime Minister was also briefed on measures to prevent the spread of Corona.
The NCOC statement said that the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and the Chief Minister briefed on the steps taken to deal with COVID-19 while the Prime Minister praised the role of the National Command and Operations Center and paid rich tributes to the sacrifices of the health workers. ۔
On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that concerted efforts should be made to curb the spread of the epidemic while ensuring supply of medicines, oxygen and beds in hospitals.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan fought Corona with a balanced strategy, taking care of all Pakistani elders, especially those suffering from heart disease and diabetes.
Imran Khan also said that the entire nation appreciates the services of medical personnel, the next 2 months we have to fight the epidemic in a united and full manner.
PM Imran Khan further said that the media has shown responsibility so far, any tendency to spread sensation should be rectified by the media itself.
