Pakistan People’s Party Senator Rehman Malik has responded to the rape allegation by the US blogger. He “strongly rejected the baseless and wild allegations”.
PPP leader’s spokesperson said in a statement, “Senator A. Rehman Malik has endorsed the statement of former Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani wherein he has denied the allegations leveled by US Citizen Cynthia D. Ritchie,”
Rehman Malik said that the allegations were made “to malign and scandalize him with mala-fide intentions”.
The spokesperson also said, “Tweets from Indian RAW directly threatening Senator A. Rehman Malik [and] hinting him of some dirty moves against him as senator stands against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is committed to Kashmir cause,”
“Malik has always been fighting for the rights and dignity of women. Her reaction has come also due to Senator A. Rehman Malik’s action as Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior regarding the derogatory remarks and fake news of the said US citizen against Shaheed Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto which she has tweeted earlier.”
“Senator Malik’s sons independently have asked their lawyers for necessary legal action and defamation against her.”
Cynthia Dawn Ritchie has made a shocking statement about the former Interior Minister of the country and other PPP authorities.
According to the details, Cynthia Ritchie said that she was raped by Pakistan’s former Interior Minister Rehman Malik and assaulted by other men in the highest echelons of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
Cynthia said this during her Facebook live session today (Jun 5). She further said that there is not just a tweet between her and PPP but she experienced the worst from the top-ranking officials of the political party.
