The Azad Kashmir government has lifted the complete lockdown and issued a notification of smart lockdown.

According to details, the Azad Kashmir government has decided to issue a smart lockdown for 15 days and issued a notification which will be effective from 12 am tonight.

Business centers will be open from 10 am to 4 pm while business centers will remain completely closed on Saturdays and Sundays, notification said.

The notification said that the ban on tourists in Azad Kashmir would remain in place while public gatherings, playgrounds, cinema halls would remain closed and worship in mosques and imambargahs would be opened under the SOPs.

The notification does not mention restoration or ban on public transport, while beauty parlors, barber shops will remain closed and educational institutions will also remain closed, and the ban on shrines will remain in place.

The notification said that in case the buyer does not wear a mask, the trader will not sell anything while the ban on the entry of persons below 12 years and over 60 years has been maintained.

Sindh govt announces to extend lockdown

Traders would be fined Rs 5,000 to Rs 15,000 for non-compliance with the health department’s SOP, while medium-sized hotels would be fined Rs 15,000 and four-star hotels Rs 100,000 for non-compliance, the notification also said.

The notification further said that a citizen who leaves his house unnecessarily will be fined Rs. 500 while shopkeepers will be fined Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 15,000. But private companies, construction companies and banks will be fined up to Rs. 500,000 for violating the SOPs.
