On Saturday, the Balochistan Provincial Disaster Management Authority said in a report that heavy rainfall in the province has killed 19 people, including 9 children and three women.
According to the report, due to the heavy rainfall, 13 people were injured in the province.
The deaths in the rain-related incidents were reported from Balochistan’s Dera Bugti, Jaffarabad, Kohlu, Jhal Magsi, Zhob, Kalat, Kachi, and Khuzdar.
In Jaffarabad, Dera Bugti, Kalat, Jhal Magsi, and Khuzdar, at least 887 houses were completely damaged and 98 of them were partially destroyed.
The report further revealed that three bridges were damaged in Kach and Gawadar during the rainfall. On the other hand, 11 roads were also severely damaged in the province.
